Résumé & Cover Letter Critique

The Career Counseling & Placement Services office can review your résumé/CV, cover letter, or other supporting application documents for academic or industrial positions. Please call our office at (217) 333-1051 if you wish to schedule an in-person appointment. You may also submit your documents for critique via e-mail to Patricia Simpson at if you are not within the local region.

Mock Interview

Please contact our office if you would like to schedule a mock interview or if you have any additional career search questions with which we can assist you.

General Job Search Resources

University of Illinois Alumni Career Center. Located in Chicago, this office provides career transition assistance, access to additional job postings, a résumé referral program, networking contacts, workshops and career advising to all members of the University of Illinois Alumni Association.
